Today is the last complete solar eclipse until 2044. The total solar eclipse will cross over North America, passing over Mexico, the United States and Canada.

The correct ISO 12312-2 glasses with solar filters must be used to safely view the eclipse.  Eclipse glasses are NOT regular sunglasses and specifically block solar radiation from damaging the retinas. Similar to laser radiation, solar radiation can cause immediate and irreparable damage to eyes! When operating lasers in your facility it's imperative the correct equipment is used and the right processes are followed.

Misuse or using incorrect laser safety guards, can lead to eye damage and in some cases, even skin damage. Learn about Laser Safety by reading our White Paper, "The Dangers of In-Press Laser Anilox Cleaning".
